About Me
Hello! I'm Nick Drachman, a physicist with a passion for developing new technology for biomedical applications and beyond! I received my PhD from Brown University in 2024, where I developed and studied the physical properties of the nanopore ion source, a new device for generating ions for mass spectrometry with unparalled efficiency. During my PhD, I also worked at NIST on a microfluidic platform for ultra-sensitive and high-speed flow metrology. Previously, I worked at UPenn on hyperpolarized ¹³C MRI techniques.
Aside from my scientific work, I like to spend my free time skateboarding and tinkering with electronics and synthesizers.
